The ERASMUS + KA1 Project called Το Ευρωμεσογειακό Δίκτυο Νέων της Κοινωνίας των Πολιτών– EuroMed Network of Civil Society Youth has been approved by the Greek National Agency with contract number 2016-3-EL02-KA105-002711 and will be implemented by ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SOCIAL ECONOMY GROUP (E.K.O.).

The project: «Ευρω-μεσογειακό Δίκτυο Νέων της Κοινωνίας των Πολιτών» «EuroMed Network of Civil Society Youth (EuroMed NCSY)» is a transnational initiative for young people. The participants will come from 12 different countries (Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Croatia, Turkey, Egypt, Tunis, Spain, Morocco, Jordan, Poland and Romania). Seventy two (72) young people aged 18-30, including their group leaders will participate in the project, organized and coordinated by E.K.O in Athens Greece.

The aim of the project is to increase the consciousness of young people as active citizens in European and other Mediterranean countries, to establish a long life collaboration in the context of a viable Organization Network which will share initiatives, interventions, training and continuous networking on major issues of democratic enhancement, fighting against violence and xenophobia, confronting major economic and social crisis issues, promoting human rights especially in the context of the refugee mobility, reinforcing the role of youth in decision making centers. The short term objective is that by the end of the project the participants will have developed an elaborated set of statutes to be agreed and signed by each organization’s representative in order to establish a viable and recognizable network. That is why the organization’s representatives are invited to participate in the project.
