The Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Albania (APRA) was born in Tirana in September 2015. The founding members are a group of psychologist, doctors and volunteers that had been involved or are still involved in European motilities programs, as Youth in Action, Erasmus+. APRA is a branch of the biggest association WAPR (World Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation) which is present in more than 47 countries. The activity is directed toward initiation, integration, promotion of the volunteering activities, programs and politics about the social inclusion and respect of the rights of people with fewer opportunities. Organization “Solis Tuvak” was founded in November, 2009. EPEKA Association, social enterprise was founded in 2008 to integrate creators of contents from fields of culture, art, education, science and technology for the project European Capital of Culture 2012.
In 2008 we have proposed city of Maribor to candidate for the title European Capital of Youth, which we gained in 2013 and EPEKA also collaborated in it.

The association focuses on international integration and cooperation with organisations and institutions at a local, regional and national level, its particular aim being the interdisciplinarity of various fields of art as well as research into ways of realising cultural programmes and projects, and establishing the platform to integrate artistic creativity, scientific research and technological paradigm in the contemporary setting, yet based on past knowledge and opening up future findings.

With regard to the programme, the association focuses on events that would redefine Slovenian culture, placing it on the world map, and of course, primarily on the European Capital of Culture 2012. Its paradigm is integration and cooperation, which will be realised both at a formal and content level in local, inter-urban, regional, national, international EU and global contexts. The world is global, and so are art and science, while the contemporary ICT network is the network of establishing such multipolar integration.
Our main focus beside Art and Culture are also youth projects, education and inclusion of Roma minority into society with the help of social entrepreneurship and employment. Romani kafenava is a project we have carried out and it is still running.

Biggest success on art field from EPEKA was exhibiting in Belgian Centre of Comic Strip Art with the exhibition 100 years of Balkans.
